PARK2TRAVEL Welcomes CCPC's findings on Airport Car Park Pricing

Competition was 21% cheaper than DAA car parks.

Park2Travel has welcomed the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission’s findings on Dublin Airport’s car parking charges.

In March 2025, the former QuickPark site was reopened by APCOA Parking Ireland, trading as Park2Travel, creating an additional 6,122 parking spaces at Dublin Airport.

This was made possible by the CCPC’s block of daa’s attempted purchase of the former QuickPark site last year.

The CCPC’s analysis of car parking charges compared two of daa’s long-term carparks with the competition, Park2Travel.

The analysis just published showed that Park2Travel is on average 21% cheaper than the Red Express carpark and on average 3.6% cheaper than the Blue Holiday carpark which is 9 minutes further from the airport.

Commenting on the CCPC’s findings, Neil Cunningham, Managing Director of APCOA Ireland said: We were delighted to see the findings of the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission’s analysis. The findings clearly demonstrate that Park2Travel, by adding much-needed capacity at Dublin Airport, offers a significantly more affordable option for travellers at Dublin airport. Our appointment to manage this valuable asset has not only increased the supply of parking to meet growing demand but also giving customers a reliable, convenient, and now demonstrably more competitive parking experience, which we believe is a win for all.”
